While down in England for the weekend I was short of cash and my wife contacted Clydesdale bank to transfer money from our savings account but they refused as we had only put the money in the savings account a few days earlier so left with very little money so my weekend has been ruined, thank you Clydesdale bank! Have been with this bank for many years but will now be looking for a new bank.

Has always tried to help me out if possible.

The staff at all 3 branches I use are friendly and helpful, as are the call-centre staff. I've always felt that I was more than just a number on an account: the bank has waived charges for me on one occasion, and never made me feel stupid even though...

I've always felt that I was more than just a number on an account: the bank has waived charges for me on one occasion, and never made me feel stupid even though I'm not great at knowing what's in my account at any given time!
