New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Daughters 1st time learner policy

After having already phoned another recommended company a couple of times I had a recommendation to call Collingwood ! So made that call in advance of my daughters 17th Birthday, actually made several calls and finally settled with taking out a Collingwood insurance policy for a learner driver! I somehow ended up speaking to the same call handler on all of my calls, the lovely Georgia who's telephone manner was exceptional in every way, friendly, professional and knowledgeable and just made the whole experience very easy going ,friendly and down to earth from start to finish! Well done Georgia you made my struggle less of a struggle and I now have a happy daughter who was insured in time for her birthday. Reviewed on: 29th August 2023

What we thought!

We looked at the prices of learner insurancec which was around a couple of hundred £ a month, then we come across collingwood, we select the 8 week and it came up as £72, we thought it was for the week, but we phoned them up, nope. £72 for 8 weeks, fully comprehensive!
