Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

I spoke to Lez and received incredible customer service. It was my first time getting car insurance and I was very much confused with the whole process. Lez was amazing and helped me through the process and clearly explained the covers and the costs. I’m happy with my insurance plan - thanks to Lez. As a driving instructor, I recommend Collingwood to most of my students for private practice, for the following reasons: + Flexible cover – from 1 week to annual. + Protects the car owner’s No Claims Bonus. + Competitive prices & easy to set up. + Supervisor can be 21+ with 3 years’ licence. + Free RoadHow app for theory & hazard practice. ! Just be aware: - £40 cancellation fee if you end annual cover early, If you’re close to your test, short-term cover avoids cancellation fees. - Comprehensive cover has a high excess, although this can be reduced in certain situations. Overall: Excellent value and very learner-friendly if you choose the right policy length. Reviewed on: 15th August 2025
