Took over 50 days to respond then said flights werent covered

Like many have said in here already, they took over 50 days to respond then said internal flights in the US weren’t covered. This was not clear on the documentation sent where they phrased that flights not booked in the UK weren’t covered. Well, I did book them in the UK. But apparently this means a flight that takes place outside of the uk. Isn’t that most flights? Scam. Avoid. Reviewed on: 17th December 2022

Just don’t ever submit a claim

Have been with coverforyou for many years, always go with annual multi-trip gold insurance with most add ons. This is the first time I’ve ever claimed, and they rejected it. Apparently when your travels are disrupted due to a natural disaster (cyclone and flooding of the airport I was meant to fly into), that’s not covered. It wasn’t even a big claim since I managed to get help from friends luckily, but very disappointing to see when something unexpected like this happens, you’re on your own. They say the only thing covered is disruption to your flights in and out of the UK. I’ll be looking elsewhere for future *actual* cover. Reviewed on: 10th March 2024

I feel scammed

After buying their 'diamond' cover and needing to claim for the first time due to a cancelled flight, we have been informed that travel disruption is an add-on that wasn't included in our policy... It offends me that a company leaves out basic cover in it's most expensive policy and then refuses to pay out. It feels like a scam, and is really disappointing. Have put in a complaint but currently the interactions have been very 'computer says no'. Reviewed on: 14th December 2022

Dreadful

Dreadful service, been waiting over 2 months for the claim now which was accepted but they told us that that are struggling to find us the same laptop, why not just get a similar one rather than not bothering to get me a replacement have been promised to get a call back twice and got no phonecall, and ignored my last emails via complaints. I sent an email saying I'm going to ombudsman if there is no response with a plan for my replacement laptop within 2 weeks and guess what, did not get a reply! Please avoid, all good reviews are mainly from people who have never had to make a claim. I will be taking legal action if there is no response very soon this has affected me a lot I am doing an online masters and really needed my laptop in these last month's as I'm writing up my dissertation and it has affected my overall course. No transparency, no people willing to help or come to a resolution for claims. Changing your waiting times online to 55 days is not an acceptable response this is not in the travel insurance cover terms and conditions if I had known it would be this long and this much hassle then I would not have took it out from your company. Brilliant

I wasn’t on hold at all, which I expected to be. The lovely lady I spoke to was efficient, clear and a pleasure to speak with. I was very happy how easy it was.
