Positive Feedback on Ali (Discount Insurance)

Dear Discount Insurance, I would like to provide feedback on the recent support I received from Ali regarding my landlord policy (HN157642-19). Before our call, I was struggling to make sense of the renewal figures and policy details. Although summaries had been provided to me previously, I found them difficult to interpret. Ali took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, and then patiently explained the policy breakdown in a way I could clearly understand. Key points that stood out to me were: She clarified the difference between buildings cover and landlord contents cover, using simple, practical examples. She explained the effect of index linking on rebuild valuations and why the insured sum was higher than market value. She broke down the finance charges on monthly payments and highlighted the options available if I preferred to pay annually. She carefully walked me through excess structures, unoccupancy rules, and scenario-based protections (e.g. trace & access, alternative accommodation). She reassured me that at renewal there will be a review of underwriters, cover levels, and premiums, and even referred my voluntary excess request to the underwriter mid-term. Overall, Ali not only gave me clarity where I previously felt confused, but she also demonstrated a genuine willingness to explore options to make my policy more suitable and affordable. She made me feel that my case was being properly attended to, rather than simply processed. I would like to thank Ali for her professionalism, patience, and thorough explanations.
