Good ethical banking

I was searching for an ethical savings product and came across the building society. they were offering a good interest rate for what I wanted and the staff were very helpful. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

Good product & excellent service

Having decided sometime ago that I wished my savings to be increasingly invested in ethical products by ethical providers, I moved significant savings into the Ecological Building Society, having checked out their credentials. Their rates have always been fair, often above average and I have been given excellent service. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

Green without greenwash

Money has no value of its self; its value is in what it can do. Unlike saving with some institutions, whose claimed green credentials are dubious, I know that by saving with the Ecology my money is being used to counteract the biggest challenge humanity faces. As an organisation it is transparent, efficient and communicates well. What's not to like? Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

Always been very happy with them.

I have always been very happy with them. YOu get to talk to real people, who seem to care and be interested. You are not left hanging on a phone line for ages. The society practises what it preaches, has an eco friendly office and supports worthwhile projects to help the environment. The rate of interest is not great but then it is not good anywhere, and at least the money is going towards worth while projects. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

The Ecology Building Society does what it says on the tin.

I have had and still have several savings accounts with the Ecology and they are unmatched, in my humble opinion, even out-doing Triodos in most measures I find important - interest rates, transparency, activities, customer education etc. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021
