Ethical investments in the north!

I was looking for an ethical way to save with easy online access, preferably one supporting worthwhile causes in the north. Although applications (for new members) are still in hard copy, once this well-explained process is completed, online access is easy. The application was straight-forward, the account information is easy to read and understand, and, notwithstanding Covid complications which delayed things slightly, the account was opened without undue delay. Banking for people and planet

I am highly satisfied with the Ecology Building Society, because the staff proivdes excellent advice and guidance, my money is invested to benefit people and planet, the society is completely transparent about its business and there is a pay ratio between the highest and lowest paid employee of only 5:1 which is exemplary for other building societies and banks. Very happy with Ecology

As the name implies the Ecology Building Society operates on green principles, so helps people tackle climate change directly, so you can feel good about investing. I have held a savings account with them for a few years now and it is great to see that a finance house is prepared to put people, planet and the future of humanity first in their decisions with what to do with the money.
