Friendly, accessible, efficient and reliable

I have been an Ecology Building Society customer for many years and have always been impressed by their approachability, the level of information they provide, their efficiency in responding to requests and communications, and the trustworthiness they exude. I have saved with Ecology for more years than I can remember. Their mission, of help for environmentally sound projects, ticks my box ten times. They have been competent, timely, helpful and friendly.

I save regularly with Ecology. Because of their ethos I would do so even if their interest rates were not good. But they always compare favourably with others. I have never once had any kind of problem with them, and will always be happy to leave them to do the right things with my money. Reviewed on: 15th March 2021

An ethical and human building society

I have been very happy with Ecology Building Society. They were there for me when I needed them, including through the pandemic, and treated me reasonably and helpfully. More banks like this

We need more banks that put planet over profits and working towards a sustainable future. However, the way savings work is a bit weird as it goes to a coop account and then to Ecological one so I that's why I am not giving all stars. Also, the account management website is not the best and no app available. With competitive banks it might not suit young tech savy generation Reviewed on: 15th March 2021
