First Class Service and Values

I've been a member of the society for many years and I am impressed how they treat each member as an individual, not just a statistic. They share my own values, support social projects with lending and grants, and are a great home for ethical investments. Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Great to be with an ethical financial institution

There is very little you can do with your money that doesn't cause harm to the planet or to people, so it's great to be with the Ecology Building Society. They are purpose led, not profit led. We need more like them! Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Ecology provide regular vibrant news and updates on how my savings are working in the community according to their values that I also share. Ethical, climate-friendly bank with great customer service.

Very happy customer

Such a delight to bank with

Knowing that my savings are in support of such an outstanding organisation means a lot to me, in a world where money tends to go hand-in-hand with exploitation. My only misgiving would be the amounts the building society's directors are paid, but the limit on the ratio between the highest and lowest earners is at least somewhat more radical than the rest of the industry. That aside, it's an organisation I'm proud to save with, and which also offers robust interest during these tumultuous times. Just outstanding. Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Excellent service and I know my money is invested in a greener future

I encouraged my brother to invest in the Ecology Building Society, and when we went for him to open the account, we were treated to a guided tour of the wonderfully green building. We both have excellent efficient service with our postal savings accounts. Reviewed on: 11th March 2021
