Rang up to join Elephant, gave all details over phone very clearly, rang a few months later to update address, they had somehow changed my lisence number in the process of supposedly changing address meaning I was technically uninsured for a long period of time. When I rang to add my partner to the policy I found out my address was never changed - when I rang they said they would see I had rang to change my address but it was never actioned properly. Stayed with this company for an extra year because they were willing to drop the price to match a better quote from another company. However, they were quick to blame me when I got into an accident so they wouldn't have to pay out and got quite rude when I tried to disagree! Reviewed on: 26th August 2016

Good customer service once i called - but i shouldn't have had to. Had spent a year with them and get the requote from them is £80 a year more despite having no claims. I managed to get them down over the phone to save moving but why is it the default to rip off customers? Reviewed on: 27th February 2016

Cheaper than the rest!

When the time came to change from my little KA to a new car (BMW) I rang to upgrade the policy from the car dealers office, Elephant were helpful, offered good advice and a competitive quote. I'm glad I stayed with them. I have been with them now for 5 years as they always come out tops in my quote searches. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
