Better Than Yolt

I switched to Emma after being disappointed by Yolt. Yolt was a great experience until they introduce their cards and make that their focus instead of being informative about spending. Emma has a great visual appeal and focuses on being informative rather than selling you products. The reviews and comments about spending habits are fun and creative, as it's coming from a friend. It's really enjoyable to use. However, would prefer if there were a category and list option for spendings. Instead of having all expenditures categorized up and a separate section for recent transactions. Reviewed on: 18th March 2021

Since downloading Emma, I've had much better oversight of my finances. Emma provides real insight into my spending activities and habits and has helped me to identify where I can cut down on my spending. In addition to that, the app is full of information, tips and tricks to save money, either by highlighting offers available or showing how much money could be saved by switching mobile or energy suppliers. I'd recommend the app to anyone who would like to gain control over their finances! Reviewed on: 18th March 2021

The app that has the features you actually want and need

I've tried so many banking and saving apps in the last year, all of which I quickly deleted when I realised they didn't actually show me new ways of looking at my money or saving strategy. When I downloaded Emma I was immediately satisfied with the features, it has many features that other apps don't that are *actually* useful, or at least Emma lays them out in a way that's obvious and clear. After just a day or two I already found myself wanting to share it with a friend, which in the startup space is basically liquid gold, it's what you dream of. I only wrote this review for the award because I feel like the team really deserve it, it's nothing ground shaking but it does its job very very well, which is what people actually want.
