Lower APR Rates for Smaller Loans

For smaller loans the APR is high and sometimes you don't want the larger loan as you are trying to reduce your outcome, due to inflation. And just need that smaller amount to get you through I have actually took a credit card out before going to the credit union. And I always thought the credit union was there for those smaller loans.
