A shambles

Despite calling the bank to advise that I was transferring savings to my current account to buy a new car,I was not allowed to purchase it because they failed to acknowledge my email. I had to wait over 2hrs to get a response from the bank. Very embarrassing! Reviewed on: 22nd May 2017

The customer service at First Direct is excellent. You can always get through to someone on the telephone within seconds and the support team are always knowledgable and able to deal with queries effectively and quickly. Online support is also exemplary with queries responded to quickly and the FAQ section of the website is very detailed. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending First Direct.
