Easy to use

It's easy to manage your banking with First Direct. Daily text messages keep you informed of the state of your account, internet access makes it easy to manage your money, transfers etc and they're usually very friendly on the phone Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Effortless reliability

I have been banking with First Direct for at least 20years now and I've never been tempted to take my business elsewhere. If I've ever wanted a loan or an overdraft it's been dealt with over the phone in record time. The customer service team are polite & helpful. The online banking is simple. I can manage most things myself with very little effort. The most wonderful thing is that they don't hassle me by trying to sell me every other service they offer, as a result of which, I always consider them. 1st Account is 1st Class

It's not often I have to contact First Direct but when I do, it's always an easy and pleasant experience. Even when I call in the middle of the night (thanks to my working patterns) I've called at 3am before and never had a problem speaking to someone who is awake, alert and helpful! One time, I had an issue with my mobile app and the person I spoke to stayed on the line throughout and made sure I was up and running before letting me go, which was brilliant as I thought I'd be given a code and left to fend for myself. I couldn't recommend First Direct more (I regularly do) and I can honestly say my 1st account with First Direct is First Class. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

The best bank ever

Always at the end of the phone - helpful and friendly no matter wot the time. Once in a financial mess they didn't judge me or add on more charges they helped and supported me more then any other bank. They are the best. Reviewed on: 11th February 2017
