It's always easy to get a human on the phone, i value that more than anything these days. They are helpful and direct you to the right service if they themselves can't help. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Good experience all round

It was easy to move to First Direct using the current account switching service and all went smoothly. The First Direct App is easy to use, giving quick access to my account balance and transactions plus the App allows notifications of ingoing and outgoing money. All in all a user friendly App. The debit card shows my account number and sort code in addition to the usual information. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026
