Brilliant regular saver - 7% and very flexible

Brilliant regular saver - 7% APR which is great and option to save up to £300 per month with flexibility to change payments. So easy to set up and use on the App, very straightforward. Wish I had done this sooner! Reviewed on: 16th March 2025

Easy set up for great interest.

So easy to set up, including the current account if you don't have one already. Transferring money over was easy and seamless, I know when I need to wire over for each months transfer and look forward tonseeing the interest at the end of the year! Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

Lack of customer service

I switched to First Direct fulfilled all the requirements and received the switch reward. I opened the 7% saver account and began saving £300 every month by direct debit from my First Direct account. So far so good. Afer a few months I received a message that my First Direct account was overdrawn. I called customer service and was told that the £300 had been taken from my First Direct account for that month and my First Direct account was now overdrawn - by a couple of pounds only. Customer Service refused to waive the overdrawn penalties. He could not explain why they had transferred the £300 to my saver account if there was insufficient funds in my main account- and why they had not informed me beforehand. I would have gladly desposited the few pounds. One would think that they would be keen to retain me a customer after paying the switch bonus.. But obviously not. Terrible uncaring service. I closed both accounts immediately. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024
