With the first direct regular saver account, you can save between £25 and £300 per month up to £3,600 per year.

The first direct regular saver is available to first direct 1st Account customers. Interest is calculated daily and paid after 12 months. You can apply in just a few minutes via the first direct app or online bank.

High interest!

Very easy to set up, linked to 1st account so money just comes straight out of there. 7% interest is fab as maximum monthly amount is high compared to other similar products. Reviewed on: 11th January 2023

Savings interest increased mid-term

Normally, with a Regular Saver account, the rate at the start is the rate that you get all the way through. But as interest rates generally started to climb, First Direct suddenly doubled the interest rate from 3.5% to a generous 7%, even though I was just over half-way through the term. I've never known a bank do that before! Reviewed on: 10th January 2023

Regular Saver - Exactly Right for Me

I've used the First Direct regular saver for a few years now, and it's perfect for me. I love the ease of it, and the rates have been good. The customer service is amazing, so I know if I need to ask any questions about it I can ring up and get them answered quickly. I've saved a lot over the past few years through the Regular Saver! High Interest acc linked to current account

Good product but limited

Monthly savings amount taken from current account every month… at the end of 12 months I get my money back plus enhanced interest. Limited to maximum £300 a month. Also once started the account that is the day of the month the savings are transferred. Only available to UK residents. One account per customer. Reviewed on: 18th January 2022

Makes you save and that's good

Overall First Direct's service is great anyway but I really like this account and open one each year. I'm a reluctant saver and easily distracted but because you lose the bonus savings rate if you take your money out this one really makes me stick to it unless I really really need the money (which Im usually able to convince myself I can manage without).
