Poor Customer Service

I have no issues with the insurance itself however their customer service is shocking as it their processes. Pray you never need to phone them!... Absolute 10/10 in terms of getting done over from an insurance company. Started the policy on Monday but have since bought a new car (Unplanned... Absolute 10/10 in terms of getting done over from an insurance company. Started the policy on Monday but have since bought a new car (Unplanned at the time). They tried to more nearly triple my premium (on a much safer car) so I cancelled and have been stung for just over £100 total in order to cancel it. Even though it's in the 14 day cooling off period (Required by law) they are refusing to refund. Not only that but after checking my bank afterwards they have charged me twice for it all! Seemed cheap at the time on the comparison websites, however I would only advise people to avoid avoid avoid. Read more Read less

    Avoid this company at all costs

    I have worked in insurance for 15 years and Geoffrey insurance are easily worst company i have ever dealt with. Taken 5 payments from account... I have worked in insurance for 15 years and Geoffrey insurance are easily worst company i have ever dealt with. Taken 5 payments from account in 2 banking days, they have no idea why, they have hung up on me twice trying to contact them, have left me witch charges for failed Direct Debits from other companies because they took money when they shouldnt have. Sent 2 emails with no reply, you then fill the complaint form on there website, when you submit the form it goes to page not found. Avoid this company at all costs, they have no clue what they are doing or how to fix it when they have made a mistake. Out of pocket £60 in charges, plus £120 from them taking payments that where not authorised. Read more Read less

    Disgusting behaviour

    Just like many of the other reviews this company renewed my policy without sending me a renewal quote and just took the money from my... Just like many of the other reviews this company renewed my policy without sending me a renewal quote and just took the money from my account, when I have tried to get it back they are saying it will take 7 days, the bank won’t help as they say the transaction has been processed - so disappointed and angry about this So unfair Read more Read less

    Disgraceful company to deal with

    They took £966+ to renew a policy I didn't want renewing then when I cancelled the policy they told me I would be refunded in...     They are real scammers. I haven't had any claims for 10 years. But renewed the incurance at two and a half times more expensive. This... They are real scammers.     They doubled the price of my premium without any justifications

    I got my renewal quote, and they doubled the costs. I had no convictions, no claims and when I contacted the customer care center they... I got my renewal quote, and they doubled the costs.     Cheap insurance which cost

    Beware their Essentials policy - it doesn't cover glass (which seems pretty essential to me!). A vandal smashed my windscreen which cost £550 to replace... A vandal smashed my windscreen which cost £550 to replace - strangely if they had damaged any other part of the car as well my policy would have covered the windscreen. Incorrectly told twice that I could claim which added to the distress. When I complained, I was told they couldn't find any record of the calls, despite me giving them the names of the people I spoke to and the times. My husband's car was also damaged - he has comprehensive insurance with the AA and his was fixed in a couple of days for £50 excess. Read more Read less
