Mortgage in a few easy steps

I moved to Glasgow in Dec 2021 and decided I wanted to buy a flat. I set up a savings account and arranged a mortgage interview which was held a few weeks later online. After getting a mortgage in principle - I shortlisted a few flats and made a couple offers on some. GCU reviewed a couple of Home Reports I forwarded and I was successful with my offer with the seller. Quite a straight forward process and I had my deposit and particulars ready to proceed.
