Great experience with saving

Great experience with saving, good customer service representative and easy and straightforward way for withdrawal. Reviewed on: 14th May 2025

Safe savings

I've been using Glasgow Credit union for my savings account for nearly 15 years. It's always felt like a safe way to save a little bit of money each month for any unexpected expenses that may come up. It's always very easy to speak to someone when I've needed to withdraw cash quickly and the new online portal has made that even better over the past two years. When I took a loan out for my car with them a few years ago I also liked that I could balance paying off the loan against my savings in a really manageable way to pay it off as quickly as I could but in a more affordable way than through the bank. Best saving account for me

The GCU assisted me in saving for my deposit so I could buy my first home. I was able to have money taken off my wages and go into my account before I would get paid. This really helped me restructure my spending and remain focused on my goal of saving to buy my first home. I had tried other saving accounts but it didn't work for me as I could easily withdraw my savings without really considering how it would prolong my goal of saving for a deposit. I will continue to use the savings account as it works well for me and enable me to manage my finances in a way that suits me. Reviewed on: 16th July 2022

Easy savings

I love saving with credit union! My money automatically leaves my account on payday so I don’t see it gone and if I ever need access to it, I can have the money in my bank account within 2 hours! Reviewed on: 16th July 2022
