Just want to take your money!!

On 23rd September i received a 7 day cancellation letter stating that you need to add a second address to the policy or it will be canceled. After speaking to someone and sending an email saying that a second address is not related to this policy and the vehicle is never kept at that address and will only be rarely driven my the named driver i was told this was ok and received confirmation for this on 24th September. I believed that the insurance was fine and everything would go ahead as planned however i again received another letter on 4th October for the exact same issue. Once again i phoned up and was now being told there was nothing you could do and i would have to pay an extra £1000.00 or my insurance would be cancelled. As this was now becoming unaffordable i stated that the insurance would be have to be cancelled. As this was in the 14 days i believed a refund would be due. Today 10th October i phoned up again as i hadn't heard anything about the refund to be told that i have to send an email ( which i hadn't been told in the previous phone call ) i then asked about the refund and was told that i would be receiving nothing! After paying out a deposit of over £500 i find this utterly devastating! If the issue had been resolved like i thought on 23rd September i wouldn't be having this stress of being out of pocket and without insurance! Dont use this company!! Reviewed on: 10th October 2016

I decided to be insured by GO Girl with a great annual price. Had to pay £150 for deposit which was expected. Unfortunately, a week later , my car went for MOT and failed so decided to scrap it. I emailed GO Girl to cancel my insurance and 2 days later my insurance was cancelled and deposit returned (-£45 Cancellation fee) with no problem or fuss. Definitely will return to Go Girl again. Be very careful with hidden cost as I have found out with my daughters insurance Reviewed on: 27th September 2016

Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with!

1
Massive hidden costs unless you can be bothered to troll through all of the small print. Customer services very unhelpful. I reported an incident with my vehicle after I crashed into another vehicle and even though there was no claim from either party I lost 1 years NCD on asking they didn't understand why as it was only on there records as for information only purposes. They really are a bunch of utter idiots and plebs! I would only recommend this company to someone I did not like. I hope that the next time their CEO goes to the toilet he passes a cactus! Avoid them like the plague. Reviewed on: 11th September 2016

Huge hidden costs - bullying attitude to customers

1
Whilst the may appear to come out well on price caparison websites they are hidden costs which are not apparent initially. Every change to the policy has a premium cost which is not explained well - even to remove a named driver and twice they have threatened to cancel my policy. Like another reviewer when my daughter passed her driving test the charges were extortionate so I said I would just take her off. They then still wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount and said if I did't pay it my policy would be cancelled - even though she wasn't ever going to drive the car. There attitude can only be described as bullying. They supply very poor customer service and fail to explain all the hidden charges which are many. I would never use them again. Cheapest Car Insurance - try them !!!!

I shopped around for my car insurance online when my renewal came round and the best quote came from 'Go Girl'. They were far cheaper than their nearest rival. What more can I say...... other than get a quote from them online :D Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

What a rip off

1
Ok when I set up the policy to add my son and daughter as learner drivers premium was not the cheapest but was reasonable however my daughter has now passed her test and I asked for a quote to keep her on withe her full license. They wanted an upfront payment of over 300 and then to pay 300 a month for the next 5 months now this is expected but then to take her off they said I'd to pay £125 within 7 days or they would cancel my policy !!! Really!!! To take her off my policy I'm appalled surely there's less risk if she's not driving so why charge more. Needless to say I am not going to lose my ncd for this year as am going to have to take cover elsewhere as I refuse to pay this to remove her. Shocking Reviewed on: 19th August 2016

Claim

To whom it may concern, I have just been speaking to one of your employee's over the phone regarding a claim for an incident which occurred on the 01.08.16, The gentlemen whom I spoke to gave me the name of Akeem which may be a fake name, is a useless member of staff who is probably sitting on his arse not knowing what he is doing at all. He may be new or something but he is the rudest person ive ever spoken to and im an estate agent who knows well, customer service is key! This is the 1st complaint I have ever made in my life and may it be the last but I cant sit here and think that this 'Akeem' is going to be speaking to other customers in the same way. So, I called for an update which I have been doing for the past 2weeks. He asked if I was the owner of the vehicle. I said no but I was the driver of the incident and I have been it touch several times, could you just put me through to claims please. he said he cannot out me through because im not the main driver????? he then said he couldn't give out any information without speaking to the main driver first??? Once I realised he didn't know very well what he was talking about, I explained I had been in touch several times and if he could put me through to claims or another colleague. he refused and refused. I asked to speak to a manager which he said I could and If I wanted to leave a complaint to leave it on here? This employee is a joke. I demanded he gave me the managers name and after a while he gave me a name: April. That's all he said. no Miss, no Mr nothing. just goes to show his level of professionalism. I asked to speak to Miss April which he said straight away, she isn't available can you hold the line. So he asked me to hold the line before asking the manager if they can take a call and then I don't understand why he wanted to put me on hold? Was he going to keep me on hold? I don't know if he was giving me fake names but I hanged up and called again and was finally put through to a more professional member of staff called: Jay Martin in claims. This gentlemen was top notch, he knew what he needed to ask, wasn't stupid & gave me all the information which I requested and even offered more help! This AKEEM dude should become his apprentice. Only after 3mins of Jay's time, I got more information than I needed and I was put through to the correct person Arron, who was dealing with my case. Both Arron and Jay are suburb and in no way was they as rude. I still havnt got to the point as to why AKEEM was being the way he was. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Or mummy didn't make him lunch? Anyway, Im sure you record your calls? As I keep hearing it when im on hold.. So this goes to the manager who I suppose is a women: Miss April, can you please sort out this 'human' and fire his arse because if I ever call and he answers the phone, I will be taking further action. There is no way I pay for insurance and get spoken to the way I did. Call was made on the 15.08.16 at 12:15pm and this situation lasted 11mins. I advise you hear the call and take further action. To be very honest, no wonder why there is so many bad reviews about GoGirl. He left me no choice so here is another. Sort it out, your staff are loosing you customers and to be very honest, if the manger knew what she was doing, she would have a employed a scum Reviewed on: 15th August 2016

Absolute liars

My experience with go girl is pathetic today me and my family was going to the Black Isle show on the way there the police pulled me over to tell me I had no insurance on the car and that the insurance company had cancelled my policy 3 months ago due to a late payment so once my car got impounded and I struggled to get me my partner my niece and my 4 kids home safely I phoned go girl and they told me that yes there was a late payment and that they sent me 2 emails which I never got and that they text me twice which I never got because they used a phone number that hadn't been used in years and they told me that was the only number they had but yet last August they phoned me to ask how satisfied with the service and that if I was a happy customer soooo they had the right number but just failed to get in contact with me about the problem and solve it for what ever reason god nose but I felt sick when police told I hadn't had insurance for 3 months driving about with my family in the car who knows what would have happened if there was an accident so now am going to end up with 6 points and a fine because go girl is a joke of a company and a bunch of liars stay away from go girl they don't care about any of there customers they basically laughed at me when a phoned them and theyle just keep taking the piss out of people that take insurance with them Reviewed on: 4th August 2016
