Why Credit Union is the company I know to borrow from.

They liased with Bristol City Council to provide the deposit (i.e. from homeless to Private Tennant and also the month in advance rent (since the DWP pay rent allowance in arrears)) (yes I know its old lingo I'm a dinosaur lol!) (and I'm doing brackets all over the place haha!) I will turn to hyphenation to not overthink on commas and full stops next! Basically they did this for me kindly and didn't add to my poverty with interest on this financial help - which was a God Send indeed! I subsequently went to them for a further loan - presuming it was still interest free as I am a Muslim practitioner - but I discovered it was a small amount of interest - but the early repayment was a bonus to myself - not a punishment etc! The person that walked and talked me through this was very compassionate, knowledgeable and also empathetic to my stress and anxiety as I HAD to borrow this money for my children's sake! I am happily honouring the direct debit within my means as best I can. I full recommend anyone suffering poverty in Britain make this company a one shop stop.
