Not quite the cheapest but better value for money.

I shopped around and after much deliberation decided to go with Holiday Extras, although not the cheapest seemed better value for money. I would have preferred to pay my annual insurance premium monthly. however this option did not seem to be available. Reviewed on: 18th December 2024

Be aware and don’t get fooled by their travel insurances, no matter if they are basics, gold or platinum, in case of a claim you not getting a penny out from these policies. I have purchased Gold Annual Multi Trip policy, hoping that I will don’t get to use it, but my last flight was delayed by over 25 hours. I have reached out to their customer service and it turns out that they are third parties companies selling cheap insurances that are worth nothing. Despite the fact that they have advised me that my insurance is Golden and I can claim £100.00 for such a delay, their company went above and beyond not to pay us a single penny, using all sorts of paragraphs, rules and regulations. I can only imagine if someone really needs to rely on such a scammers and needs to make a claim for a large amount of money! I use to buy travel insurances from Aviva in the past and had similar claims and being paid without any complications. Yes they are temptingly cheap compared to the other companies, but you only spending your money for A4 paper, if it comes to claim, simply forget about it! Hope my review for buying insurances from Holiday Extras will help those who are wondering about the low prices of their covers, it is because they cover nothing! Reviewed on: 18th December 2024
