I always travel with Holidaysafe & make sure the rest of my family do as well. We were all very glad to be in their safe hands when we needed medical assistance for a nasty spider bite in the middle of the night. I am often perplexed when it comes to travel insurance. It is difficult to pick out the good companies from the bad. Having previously had a bad experience I now pay a lot more attention to the policy wording and I am pleased to say since using Holidaysafe I have had been able to travel safe in the knowledge that I am covered comprehensively. Fantastic when we made a claim

A few years ago my partner was seriously injured abroad and in intensive care. Holidaysafe paid for me to fly out to be with him, liaised with his doctors every step of the way, and paid for all our costs in getting home etc. They even paid him a benefit for being in a public hospital! Good value cover but beware small print!

I took out very good value coverage with HolidaySafe for several years, but when it came to take out a claim they have excesses levied not as one claim but on different parts of the same claim, which makes the excess fee really add up. Reviewed on: 17th August 2016
