The account is for sole traders or single director shareholder businesses. There’s no monthly account fee and you get free UK digital banking. The HSBC Kinetic account also includes a monthly cashflow outlook and categorised spending tools.

Almost faultless

I like the simplicity of the app and also find the performance tools to be very informative. Logging in is convenient, same goes with the customer support chat. My only criticism is international transfers. You can't physically do it on the app, instead you have to ring their phone line which can be time consuming. I'm sure there's a logical reason for this but as a customer it would be better to have the choice of sending money abroad within the app. Overall its a great app and I would recommend it to anyone! Easy application which was accepted!

Trying to set up a business for the first time is difficult and working out the best people to bank with wasn't easy! HSBC made it an easy process, they have a streamlined, user friendly app and a bank card which I use regularly for my business. Reviewed on: 18th March 2022

Set up my new business bank account on my phone with Kinetic in 7 minutes, had a call within a couple of hours from my new account manager making sure everything was OK, new card arrived within 5 days and the company is now up and running! I remember the good old days when you had to visit "a bank" in person and it would take weeks/months to sort.
