Great money management app!

Since my eldest daughter started at high school, she needed some payment card. I discovered Hyperjar and have never looked back! The app is so easy to use (for her and me). The money transfer and money management tools are great. And the immediate spending notifications are so handy! Have recommended this app and company to many, many friends. Excellent

It's a great way to have pocket money

It's a great way for a child to have pocket money available both in UK and abroad in a cashless world. Not providing interest is a shame for kids though as they don't benefit from saving up - this would offer really valuable learning for them before they can have a bank account of their own. Great Account

We got the HyperJar Adult Account as we wanted to open up a Children’s Account. The Adult Account let's you transfer money in and add it to jars so you have different pots of money abd it allows you to navigate the ChildrenAccount. I dont use the Adult Account to its potential as it's mainly used to load my son's card. Our 12yr old son LOVES his hyper jar card. It helps foster independence and money management. He loves being able to transfer money into pots as he's saving for a new console. We transfer money into his account, via the Adult Account, once he's completed his weekly jobs and he carries it everywhere with him. The contactless card is great for getting a bus when public transport is now cashless and popping to the shop. The app is so handy for keeping track of what is being spent, too. Customer Service is so helpful. I had to contact them once and they resolved the issue immediately. All in all, Hyper Jar Adult and the Children’s Account has been great for us, as a family. Love this account and have two cards for children

Love this account and have two cards for my eldest children. Easy to top up thier wallets. Also love the savings in to different Jars. If your careful you can avoid charges just by being careful. Reviewed on: 29th March 2025
