Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Easy cover for pre-existing conditions

It's very easy to get cover for pre-existing conditions unlike other providers. I've sued them for the last 3 years. Never claimed but my interactions with them have been professionally handled. Reviewed on: 20th September 2023

Brilliant Insurance Company

We have used Just Travel before and always find it easy to get a quote and deal with cover provided by them. They are much better than other companies and we would use them again. Reviewed on: 20th September 2023

Excellent service

The young man who dealt with my application was courteous, helpful, and patient especially whilst dealing with my poor hearing. I initially opted for a month cover but then requested a further quote for annual cover which I subsequently took. The change was made quickly and without fuss or complaint.
