Woeful service

Letters are ignored by the administration centre in Sunderland while the customer services team is poorly trained and based in India. My account was locked without any notification, and I was lied to by a member of the customer service team. This meant I couldn’t access over £50,000 of my money. If I could be bothered, I’d report this lot to the Financial Conduct Authority. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026

Fixed Rate Cash ISA

My 1 year fixed rate ISA is due to mature soon. Kent Reliance have had £20K of my money for a whole year and yet the interest rate on the (exclusive) cash ISA product they are offering me to stay with them is LESS than new customers can get!!!!! Reviewed on: 24th January 2026

Just moved our Isas and bond from TSB to Kent Reliance.

Just moved our Isas and bond from TSB to Kent Reliance. Luckily we have branch I our town. The meeting with the team was swft and very informative. All documents co pleted easily in branch and switch took place in o ly a fee days,after the maturity date from TSB. Also use the online tool which is simple to find your accounts. Exasperating Contact Process

Attempted to contact Customer Services by telephone on 3 July at 12 noon, and apart from the never ending options to choose from, found that all representatives were busy, eventually I opted to keep my place in the queue by asking for a call back. I rang again at 15.27 as not received a call back. It would seem that it usually takes 24-48 hours for a call back. At 19.08 received a call from an unrecognised number - not answered - the caller left a message which was impossible to decipher because of his strong Indian accent. After listening to the message a number of times managed to identify the tel. No. of Kent Reliance. I was not expecting a call out of business hours and was definitely not prepared to repeat the process of contacting Customer Services again. I decided to transfer my account to another provider. Incompetence in abundance

When my Isa was a few days before maturity I arranged for another bank to take over the running of it.Now 7 days after maturity Kent Reliance have still NOT transferred the ISA to my new provider after 3 requests.Keep well away from Kent Reliance is my opinion. Reviewed on: 18th January 2023

ISA instruction not complied with

Called and gave specific instructions, which did not happen I have a heart condition, and do not need the stress. Do not use Kent reliance Hours and hours on hold Reviewed on: 19th April 2022
