Excellent customer service

We have been members since 1994. The service is personal and if you have a problem, they go above and beyond to help. Their rates and products are very competitive. I wouldn't use anyone else for our mortgage. Reviewed on: 4th March 2023

Mortgage new deal

A good solid reliable building society with real people in charge.

I took out my first mortgage with the leek in the late seventies when it was hard to get one with any of the big lenders even at sixteen percent! leek have always been of gereat help and a source of good impartial advice. I have seen a lot of employees come and go over the years some spending there entire working life at the leek, always helpful and glad to be of assistance to some it may be "old style" to have real counter staff and managers etc but but to most "normal investors" it is reasuring to have stability and integrity in the insttution that is providing you with the biggest financial Involvement that you will ever undertake. Not eveything can be done on the internet or over the phone! it's Good to Talk face to face to an understanding person as and when you need it, "Leek United the good face of finance." Great service and helpful staff

I switched my mortgage from a residential to a buy to let. I was quite daunted by the idea of this but all of the people that I spoke with were so helpful and explained everything brilliantly. The process was really easy and at no point did I feel uneasy about what I was doing. I've recommended them to many of my friends as the levels of service in my opinion are so high.
