Leek Building Society came to my rescue.

Leek Building Society came to my rescue in 2018 when, at the age of 68, I was faced with a domestic crisis which forced me to seek a partial re-mortgage of my home. The mortgage broker who acted for me found only one lender in the UK willing to lend someone of my age the money - Leek Building Society. Throughout subsequent negotiations Leek Building Society could not have been more helpful. They acted with the utmost courtesy and efficiency. In 2023 I had to renew. Although my mortgage broker urged me to look at other possibilities I had no hesitation in seeking a renewal with Leek Building Society, at a revised fixed rate which meant I was paying almost an identical amount to the previous five years. In the light of recent interest rises that has proved so beneficial. Leek Building Society and its staff are heroes. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

Excellent Buildjng Society
