I’ve been banking with Lloyds since I was a child. I currently have a Platinum account which is good value for money. I received car breakdown cover, mobile phone insurance and world wide family travel cover to name a few of its benefits. Having paid for this card since May 2023 I happened to ring the AA to discover my name was not registered with them! Despite almost three hours on the phone after 14 days I am still not registered! Have asked for refund of fee and have requested cancellation of Platinum account as have arranged individual travel and breakdown cover. Now considering transferring to another bank. Trying to make contact with the right person is a nightmare. Reviewed on: 16th March 2024

Great app, many branches still, premium feel.

The extras provided by the account are not worth it!

I took an account with them and used the mobile phone insurance option and it was so painstaking awful service. I am on my 5th phone as each refurbished phone is worse than the previous one. Please please go to Natwest as they provide a replacement service option whereas at Lloyds you have to send your phone in and wait 2 weeks to get your phone back who does that in the day and age! A service I can always rely on.

My calls are always answered quickly even during busy periods and answered by polite and really helpful UK based staff. The added monthly benefits are okay, not great but they don't really cost anything. I don't have issues with unpaid payments as the bank seems to cover them and let's me know when I need to pay more money into my account. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023
