To apply for a London Capital Credit Union loan, you must first join as a member.

You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

I requested for a loan, when I was facing financial crisis, despite the emotional pressure I was going with improper documentations and the credit union officer continued to contact me, though doing his job, but it more than the application to me, it showed me psychologically that people still cared. Support when I needed it most

London Capital Credit Union supported me during one of the most challenging periods of my life, when I was unable to obtain a loan elsewhere. Their financial assistance helped me at a time when I had very few options. It enabled me to secure a rental property at the last minute and also helped me cover important expenses so that my wife could join me in the UK. I will always be grateful for that support. Throughout my dealings with them, I found the team to be professional and courteous. I sincerely appreciate the help they provided when I needed it most and would like to thank everyone at London Capital Credit Union for their support. Reviewed on: 12th July 2026

It gives me the opportunity to save .

It gives me the opportunity to save .money . Loans has a reasonable interest. Though there was an instances that my loan was denied , the time that I lost my mum . Despite , of the circumstances that I was facing that time.The loan manager was not so sympathetic. I have to use loan shark because he did not approve my loan which I badly needed that time. The credit union has been an invaluable source of support for me and my family over the years. It has helped us manage unexpected emergencies, save money consistently, and make it possible to afford family holidays. It has also provided financial assistance when needed for essential items such as food, clothing, and shoes, as well as helping me manage and reduce debts.
