You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

I've been a member of London Capital Credit Union for several years and honestly can't recommend them highly enough. They offer a fantastic alternative to high street lenders, with a genuine focus on helping their members rather than making a profit. I have both a loan and a savings account with them, and one of the things I value most is that my savings build up alongside my loan repayments. At the end of the loan term, those savings remain mine, leaving me with a financial cushion rather than starting from scratch. It's a simple idea, but it has made a real difference to my financial wellbeing. The service has always been friendly, professional and efficient. Everything is explained clearly, payments are straightforward, and I've always felt treated with respect. It's refreshing to deal with an organisation that genuinely wants its members to succeed financially. London Capital Credit Union deserves recognition for the positive impact it has on people's lives. They don't just provide loans—they help people develop good saving habits, build financial resilience and plan for the future. I have never had a response for a loan done on line and receive feedback so quickly they turned going to bank to get a loan experience into a pleasant one.
