Good value

LV always gives us a competitive renewal quote. The excess is also reasonable compared to other insurers. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

House insurance renewal

Despite LV being recommended as a "best buy" by Which?, I'm finding it difficult to stick with them. I have so far stuck with them for the last 3 years simply because of Which's recommendations, but hoisting the premium more than 20% each year for the last two years is really too much considering that I have never made a claim from them and indeed not for any insurance company for over 10 years and even then it was just a light fitting that fell from the ceiling. At one time LV were financially competitive, but they are no longer and this will be my last year with them should they continue to fleece their loyal customers. Reviewed on: 20th September 2017

Pure and simple
