Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

I was struggling and no one to help I turned to my local council and was dismissed and became homeless I spoke with credit union Manchester and they helped me meaning I could find a homeless shelter until my benefits came through. Reviewed on: 25th June 2025

Community spirited union

I have been a member since 2009 and from joining up i have been part of the credit union family. I say family because they never make me feel any less and no question to hard to answer. I have even got my daughter and son inlaw on board. Credit union are all about the community and making everyone feel included. Reviewed on: 25th June 2025
