Good, affordable and reputable Pet Insurance.

Good, affordable and reputable Pet Insurance. Decent price and good customer service when I called them to find out more about the Pet Insurance and what it covered and offered. I would recommend this to my family and friends. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Awful service, AVOID!

Awful service. They emailed an invalid address (which they later admitted was their error and a typo) saying I had 4 hours to reply or they'd escalate. How could I reply when they didn't actually email me? They then said that since it was an honest mistake that they'd done nothing wrong in escalating as I hadn't replied. To an email they didn't actually send me. They are disputing what my vet says as they believe they know better, and their lack of attention to detail has also seen them email me the wrong contact information (Tesco pet insurance instead of M&S, they provide service for all). Premium skyrocketed in price without ever claiming on it previously. When I complained and spoke to customer service it was very much a 'computer says no' we can't do anything about it response. Real shame as the policy was good. Reviewed on: 17th June 2025

Beware do not buy this insurance its a big con

We purchased marks and Spencer pet insurance back in 2017 we first paid around 40 pound a month then it went up to 56 pounds a month we tried to claim for our dogs teeth which have to be taken out we were first told we aren't insured for age related but now have been told not insured at all we have paid around 6000 over the years keep well away they are a big con put money in bank monthly instead beware Reviewed on: 1st March 2025

Immoral price increases at review.

They have no qualms whatsoever in making their pet insurance prohibitively expensive at renewal by doubling the premium. This forces many pet owners like myself to cancel the insurance on the grounds of affordability and leaves an elderly pet without the treatment they have become dependent upon. This is in my opinion the height of animal cruelty and it is not treating vulnerable customers fairly either. If they are so concerned about a specific condition then this should be excluded from inception. Reviewed on: 13th December 2024

Wish I had stayed with Tesco

Refused to pay for a claim as they alleged the condition was pre existing, when it is not possible to actually prove this was the case. Reviewed on: 6th November 2024

Ridiculous price increase !

Have had our jackchi insured with m&s for a year she is in good health and haven't made any claims she isn't 2 years old until March 2025. The renewal quote arrived today and it's gone up by £64.74 will I be renewing , NO I WON'T expected a small increase but not as large as the one I received. If they can increase it by £64.74 when she is not even 2 years old then I would dread to see what the price would be by the time she reached 10 years old. Reviewed on: 5th November 2024

Happy with my pet insurance policy

M&S were the only ones who don't charge a percentage of vets' fees on top of the excess. It's a great insurance policy but it does go up steeply each year. That said I have been with them for several years now. They are very friendly and easy to deal with. Reviewed on: 4th September 2024
