Myself and my husband have a lot savings with you. We have transferred a few accounts of late, ISA's etc. I feel that the way we were dealt with was unprofessional. After having a long conversation about postal strikes and asking for my passbooks not to be posted out, my wish was ignored and they were posted. They went missing for weeks and weeks. I would not want anything like that posting whether there were strikes or not. On top of this, trying to get an appointment was an absolute nightmare. We both work full time and could only make afternoons and weekends. I was told we could not have appointments after 3pm in the week. This is ridiculous for working people. It took weeks to get a weekend appointment. I was at the point where I was considering moving our £100k savings elsewhere. While being a friendly local branch in important, it should not be at the expense of professionalism, where people who I presume are manager level staff turn up for meeting dressed like they are going to sit on the sofa and watch Netflix. I will say that I the staff that man the main desk are always friendly and helpful, the issue has been where appointments have been needed. Reviewed on: 4th April 2023

Some great products but inadequate administrative resources.

Customer service has been very bad recently. I feel very sorry for the hard working staff who have been expected to perform efficiently whilst dealing with significant increases in workload. The one redeeming feature of the Mansfield has been their market leading savings products which are great value. Unfortunately that positive attribute has been responsible for increased administration and the decline in service levels. Reviewed on: 4th April 2023

Poor customer service

After having an appointment for the investment is ISA's on 10 February and also to request an ISA transfer, I find the service poor, 3 weeks later I tired telephoning, the phone is never answered, I left 6 messages before anyone got back to me, the answer phone message states you are busy dealing with other customers, however it take 2 days to return a call from my 1st message, very poor customer service, the query was never resolved, I called into branch and was given some story about follow up, very poor, I suggested I called the Nationwide, which the reply was they will not answer the phone for hours, I did call and was answered within 3 minutes, unlike the Mansfield Reviewed on: 4th April 2023
