No.1 choice

I decided to get a quote from Bought By Many after a recommendation from a friend, and have not been disappointed, the website is easy and clear to use and have recently added another policy for a second pet. Great Slogan rubbish service

I have seen many adverts for this Company stating the care for your pets, put ultimately they prioritize there profits first. I have never known a Pet Insurance Company to drag out claims for so long and make the process so difficult. It should not be Many Pets but Many Profits. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2022

SCAM COMPANY

My first insurance company for my dog and defo the last one. Took them 7 months to review claim and refused to pay. My dog had fever and I paid in cash almost 2k for few visits, 2k for fever ,JOKE I will look for legal action ,they will not get away with it claim number 57419004 Reviewed on: 22nd December 2022

Hassle free and quick

When we lost our cat during surgery a few weeks ago I was worried about claiming and the process being difficult. I was very wrong, within days of receiving the claim it was all paid, my monthly payment adjusted and a condolences note through the post. In such a horrible time I couldn't fault the service at all. PET PLAN IS A SCAM

Pet Plan is an Absolute SCAM. You’re premium goes up every year excessively in jumps like £15 to £20. Started off at £35 and eight years later is £105 . They cover absolutely nothing . The £780 dental work was considered cosmetic and not covered . I have stopped the insurance now as the first time I make a claim because my dog got sick, nothing was covered because I had to pay 20% excess deductible which was the cost of the visit and so Pet Plan wiggled their way out of paying anything. I paid and they didn’t . I cannot for the life of me understand why I have been paying thousands of pounds over the years and nothing nothing nothing was ever covered under their terms . Pet Plan are a scum insurance . Put your money in a bank account for your pet and pay for things this way . Note I was paying £105 per month for a £4000 coverage Do you know that a simple scan and test was priced at £8000 so even if you have pet insurance your £4000 doesn’t even get you a test result let alone any treatment . And your excess on a £4000 claim will be £800 . So the actual coverage is only £3200. Meanwhile in four years you could have £5000 in your pets bank account and in 8 years over £10,000 saved for treatment . I massively regret paying into Pet Plan all these years . Have not paid my claim but increased my premium

Once you claim you realise how poor this company is. I've had pet insurance with many ManyPets for 5 years and put a claim in for sickness and diarrhoea. We have been waiting 6 weeks - no update, no communication from ManyPets and then as we were due for renewal they increased our monthly payment to £16 a month. As we claimed for £389 they will get £192 back from the increase we have incurred in the premium (without still actually paying us the claim). I dread to think what would have happened if we had claimed for a more expensive illness (credit card bills plus a heftier increase in our premium most likely). Their claims line. is also only available Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm - as a teacher this makes it impossible for me to ring them during the week and when I have tried at lunch I have been on hold too long to actually get through. I have also tried to use their online form to find out more about the claim progress and received automated responses. I rang on a Saturday to speak to their general customer services and said after 5 years I wanted to cancel my insurance due to the premium being increased and not being paid my claim and not even a question was asked, they just said ok and goodbye. No interest in loyal customers. I feel completely ripped off and having stayed with them for 5 years I feel sick by how much money I have paid to this company only for in the time I needed them for them to let me down. It wasn't a great deal of money I claimed compared to other conditions that cost thousands and yet the experience I have had tells me to avoid and go elsewhere. Reviewed on: 21st November 2022

Easy, superb!

Claiming is made so easy with their online platform. They have independently sought further info if required from my vets versus bothering me, the money is paid swiftly and I get an email informing me when it’s paid. Superb, seamless, effortless. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2022
