Only insurer for FIV cats

I adopted a rescue cat with feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) recently and this is the only insurance company that will cover a cat with FIV in any capacity. Other insurance companies won't insure them at all, not even as a pre-existing condition, despite the fact that they can live long healthy lives with this condition. This is a tragedy for these cats who desperately need homes because people struggle to insure them due to ignorance and stigma. I was so relieved that Bought by Many are educated and see this condition like any other pre-existing condition. They also offer an amazing pre-existing policy. I've recommended them to other people who are considering adopting these beautiful FIV+ cats. This company is saving lives and helping people give these cats the loving home they deserve. I only had my little 11 month old Chihuahua for a month when we discovered he has Perthes Calve poor love was in a lot of pain. He needed a hip replacement that was carried out when he was 13 month old. I was devastated for him and for myself as i had only the year before lost my husband. Bought By Many were fantastic!! The staff were so kind, so caring. fantastic customer service

Unfortunately I have had a problem with my dog. Called spoke to Chloe, she advised on how to proceed, with sending receipts etc, then received email progress, as vet history was required, although now having further physio therapy, part of the claim has already been paid. Straightforward and easy to deal with

Fortunately, I haven't often had to deal with the company. However, moving my three cats' insurance over to them was a swift easy process and the one claim I had to make was dealt with sympathetically and without any quibbles, even though it had to be made just after I'd started with them. I would recommend them as they do not automatically make you feel like they are trying to find a way not to pay you, but are friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020
