Good value for money, but not the best customer service

Great value for money, and a quibble-free attitude. Their customer service is lacking though; they’re clearly understaffed, and it’s hard to get through on the phone sometimes. They can sometimes let things fall through the cracks, for example they didn’t set my direct debit up properly, and I hadn’t noticed it had stopped going out of my account each month. Cut to December when they sent me an invoice for £500 out of the blue for missed payments. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

Many Pets are more than just an insurance company

Many Pets are more than just an insurance company. They are like a family. When my previous dog needed a lot of medical care I didn’t have to dispute with many pets once about any of the costs of the medical bills that he needed. They were always so lovely on the phone and genuinely cared about our Breezy and were touched by our story. When Breezy passed away and I had to ring to tell them to cancel the policy I couldn’t hold it together and the lady on the other end of the phone felt my pain and cried with me and I needed that. Two days later I received a card, chocolates and a bunch of flowers in the post from many pets which was just so beautiful. There are not many insurance companies that would do that! I didn’t think twice about insuring my new dog Zero with them as I knew that he would be just as looked after! Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

Easy claims process, no quibbles, payments made swiftly

My dog has sadly had Lymphoma for the last couple of years, which has led to three rounds of (quite costly) chemotherapy. The claims process with ManyPets has always been smooth, and I've seen progressive improvements over the years. They've never quibbled about a claim, and for the most recent policy claims have been settled very swiftly. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

Pet Loss

When our cat died I was lost as to what to do indirance wise and was directed well. It did take a while for a response each time and I would have liked a complete final breakdown of the payout though because the care was over 2 veterinary practices it was difficult to get paperwork together but it was resolved in the end. I have the insurance that includes money towards buying a new pet which was really helpful. I've never claimed for individual illness payments so can only comment on "pet loss" claims. I have 2 pedigree cats and am happy with the cost, level of cover and service provided. There are other benefits offered I think like a video vet and partner discount offers but I don't use these.
