I was transferring money from a 120 day accout to a 120 day ISA when just too late I noticed another ISA with a better rate of interest. I think the cashier should have automatically realised there was a better account with a better interest rate. Now I have to wait another 120 days to move the money. Thiscould have an impact on putting savings into future ISAs. Reviewed on: 31st August 2023

Branches great, but online needs a lot of improvement!

It seems that each time I try to use the online/e-savings facility, there is a problem in accessing the website. Usually, it is not accepting passwords/usernames (and I am VERY good at online banking so I know these are correct!) but the last time it was a refusal to send an authentication code, even though my mobile details are up to date. And, of course, I cannot access the e-savings without this. I'm still waiting for the promised 'call back'. So I'll have to visit the branch in person which leaves me asking - what exactly is the purpose of having online facilities if they rarely work and the customer has to go to the branch anyway?
