Friendly, Efficient and Accessible Service

The above title pretty much sums up Metro Bank. Following a bad experience with a previous bank, I was left in a very stressful situation. Walking in off the High Street into my local Metro branch (Croydon), I was instantly given the human touch. I was listened to, an appointment made to speak with a business manager and within 3 days I had an account opened that is right for my community interest company. I love the fact that Metro continues the tradition of making banking easy for all and making that person to person contact a key part of their service. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Refreshing

When Metro Bank opened I it’s UK operation it seemed innovative from the outside. A little eccentric maybe. I have been running businesses for 30 years and had noticed over that period that the personality had disappeared from the ‘traditional’ High Street banks. I run 5 company bank accounts now with Metro with a combined turnover of £7m. I feel safe with Metro and feel my day to day banking requirements couldn’t be more straight forward and secure. Bags of personality throughout and great communication. I do tend to promote Metro Bank when networking because I genuinely think they add value to my business. Reviewed on: 1st April 2023

Always available

I must say in we are living in times where all you here is banks are closing your next local branch. I can't imagine how difficult it is for older folk to do there day to day banking especially when they can't talk to anybody in person. Metro bank are always there to help! On the phone by email and in person locally. Very friendly helpful staff. Definitely the No1 bank in the UK Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

No stars !!! Disgraceful

Without notice or explanation froze my business account leaving me unable to pay suppliers or staff … days later I’m still waiting for a call from their head office ( who you can’t call !!) branch and customer service employees are useless say there’s nothing they can do I just have to wait to be contacted. In the meantime I can’t pay staff or suppliers and my business could collapse. Can’t believe they get away with this it’s unbelievable … even the financial ombudsman haven’t come back to me. My hands are tied. X the stress it’s causing is off the scale. Please do not use this bank. I also save with Nationwide and they are amazing but unfortunately don’t do business accounts.
