Very good bank if you have mental health issues and need a simple account to manage

The later opening hours enables me to balance my illness and accessing banking services at later hours due to fatigue which helps. Due to mental ill health and anxiety I often loose things or forget codes however these things are immediately rectified in the bank rather than having to wait days for post which I do not open due to anxiety. Staff are always helpful and give you time to process information they provide you with plenty of time. As someone who suffers with serious mental health issues the straight forward app and services offered in store help. Reviewed on: 4th April 2023

Metro bank is always friendly and helpful

When ever we have a problem concerning the bank they have always been very friendly and helpful and it is great that you can get a new bank card straight away instead of having to wait for it to come through the post. It is lovely when you walk through the door and there is a friendly person there to greet you not like other banks where you are left to try to sort it out on their machines. Best all-round bank ever!

Though I usually bank online, Metro is the best bank I’ve ever used. Brilliant for accessibility, in person and online, with friendly helpful staff.My local branch (Guildford) is very conveniently situated, and the opening hours are extensive and cater brilliantly for all types of customer.
