Best business banking

We were with a traditional business bank, but did not feel we were being respected or given the best service so we trialled Monzo for 3 months, before moving all business across. Monzo has been incredible. The service and speed of moving all accounting second to none. They would have done it in a day, but our traditional bank needed 10 working days! We have already been offered overdrafts and other services, that our old bank would not offer, without significantly more costs. We really should have moved all our banking requirements much sooner. We banked with the Cumberland but, delightful as the people were, the system was so antiquated that it caused us cash flow perception problems. Monzo alerts you of upcoming bills etc that enables you to anticipate and control expenditure. My only caveat is that problems solving is difficult because there is no one to speak to. I opened a different business account first with a traditional bank, but quickly started to miss some features that I got used with my Monzo personal account, so once I knew multiple people can manage a Monzo business account I instantly signed up! Reviewed on: 1st March 2023
