Really good as a business account, allows me to manage my sole trader account very easily, putting money into a pot to save for my tax bill. Reviewed on: 6th March 2026

Easy to Use Business Banking App

I have been using the business account from Monzo and overall my experience has been positive. The mobile app is very intuitive and makes it easy to track transactions, organise money with pots, and manage finances on the go. Opening the account was quick and straightforward, and everyday UK transfers are fast and free. I also like the instant notifications and budgeting tools, which help keep my business finances organised. For small businesses or freelancers, the free Lite account is a good starting option. However, there are some limitations. Cash deposits are restricted and there are no physical branches, so everything must be handled through the app. In some situations customer support can take time to respond. Brilliant!

I created a Monzo Business Account last year to upgrade from my previous Tide Account, which was incredibly basic. Monzo has amazing functionality and allows me to split off the Tax liability from each payment credited to my account and stores it separately for complete ease. Brilliant! Great Service and App

I’ve been banking with Monzo for over 2 years and have consistently been provided with great customer service. The Monzo app is user friendly and allows me to bank with ease.
