Monzo offer a free bank account for under 16s, with controls set by their parent or guardian.

Kids get their own neon card and can see their money in the Monzo app. Parents or Guardians can keep an eye on the account, set spending limits and schedule pocket money.

Monzo is brilliant!

This account has been great for my son. He's learning to budget his money and he is impressed with the pots he can have. He has built up some savings! He sometimes spends on in game content online, he buys it all himself now with his own card, as the parent account I am notified of those transactions. We just love the ease of everything with Monzo!
