About this product

Monzo offer a free bank account for under 16s, with controls set by their parent or guardian.

Kids get their own neon card and can see their money in the Monzo app. Parents or Guardians can keep an eye on the account, set spending limits and schedule pocket money.

Monzo under 16s is very restrictive and controlling I can’t transfer money to people or receive from friends I think Monzo should have a 6-11 year old account which is restrictive and a 11-16 account where its exactly like an over 16 account with less limitations and they can do what a normal Monzo account can please do this Monzo Reviewed on: 4th May 2025

Quick to set up, easy to use, no fees. Perfect!

Set up my childrens account in about 10 minutes. Cards arrived in under 48 hours. No fee and we can all see there balances and manage their accounts. A great way to teach financial management whilst keeping some oversight! Reviewed on: 20th April 2025
