Not helping to buy

The maximum price for the first time house in this ISA is very small. It essentially limits you to only buying an apartment. Buying a house (in the south, Leeds and Manchester at least) would be impossible. Reviewed on: 21st March 2023

Helpful for first time buyers

Easy set up and great customer service

Friendly staff - making big decisions easy

I feel as though in the modern world, customer service face to face, especially within banking seems to have disappeared. The staff at Nationwide in Poole High Street made me and my partner feel so comfortable when setting up our first joint account and my help to buy ISA. So much so, I am moving my current account to them too. Their people first focus is so refreshing and very comforting too. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2018
