Do not trust Natwest

Charges applied to my account even though I went in to store as was told I had enough funds. I had over 400.00 in my savings with them to which they can see and still charged me £70.00 and was told I should 've in charge of my funds better . Also had me one the phone for 1hr and 30 mins to be told this . Also changed standing order to 26th for rent had it taken out on the 26th and the 28th original date . And have been charged again another £70.00 even though it was banks mistake and standing order still not changed . Wouldn't trust this bank APPALING service and only interested in how much money they can get from you. BAD SERVICE IN STORE AND ON PHONE . APP DOWN FOR 14 DAY. Reviewed on: 21st May 2018

Daylight robbery

Scrap overdraft charges! and let people not have any overdraft if they so wish. It's totally wrong what NatWest and other banks do regarding overdrafts, just all out for themselves. Couldn't care less about people who have to struggle on a budget. Reviewed on: 27th April 2018

Good Bank

Easy and fast switching process

Not great service

I had my card stolen and cancelled it right away except the thief was still able to spend £80 contactlessly which I couldn’t get back. Another time I called customer service to ask them if I could complete an action in the branch before going all the way there which I was told I could, but when I got there was informed I couldn’t and that the customer care ‘don’t know what they’re talking about’... Had an account with NatWest for years and although didn't have any major issues with them, there was nothing that stood out as being excellent. Was very average service I received. Whereas santander have been excellent in many ways. Reviewed on: 4th April 2018
