great service

never had any problems have used these for 18 years Reviewed on: 19th February 2016

Online banking is very simple and effective, managed to lock myself out of it a couple of times so know it's secure! Reviewed on: 19th February 2016

Great customer service

I have several accounts with Natwest and whether I have used the online chat/ been into branch or used telephone banking I have found the customer service very good. I have recently opened a reward account with Natwest and I like to see the cashback mounting up. I really like the idea of getting money back when paying bills. There is a small monthly charge (£3) for this account which I guess covers any admin fees. The cashback outweighs the charge so I feel like I am better off using this account. My basic account does what it says on the tin. I wanted something simple to use to separate any 'work' income from my personal accounts. Reviewed on: 19th February 2016

online banking is good but in branch service is poor

I much prefer to bank online, whether through the web or their app as you get what you want. However, going into a branch involves a painstaking queue, being bombarded by some staff keen for you to leave the queue and do transactions at the machine whilst repeatedly informing them (indiscreetly) I am in the queue to withdraw cash above my daily limit and then feeling wary of the public around me knowing that I'll be walking out of there with a sum of cash. Telephone service is poor too - I asked for an up to date statement because the online couldn't create one. Only to be told they were unable to email me one and I'd be better going into a branch - these are tricky to locate and usually involve car park charges, besides I needed a pdf copy to email to my mortgage broker. You hear of lots of problems with non payment, not being able to access the online accounts - i've never experienced this with Natwest! My account got hacked in 2008 and they sorted it all out for me in no time, they were fantastic! Good rates, plenty of support and facilities! Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

No Bother At All

A great everyday banking account with no bother at all. Easy to withdraw, send and add direct debits. Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

Solid, user friendly, simple bank account

4
My Natwest bank account was my first ever grown up bank account. Depsite the enticing officers elsewhere I still find myself loyal - part of me doesn't know why, part of me does. I love the way the account looks, the accessibility, the speed of processing my payments, the way its never let me down. So yup, I might switch one day. Or I might keep putting it off for the next 20 odd years!! Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

I have been with Natwest for over 20 years and I have never encountered a problem that was not dealt with straight away. Staff are always pleased to help and do try their very best. Reviewed on: 18th February 2016
