Natwest Rooster helps me to budget as a parent

5
I love everything about Natwest Rooster. My girls love the freedom they have to make their own purchases and pay for the school bus. I like that it's safe for them to use and that I can replace or pause their cards when they lose them. It's made life so much easier in an increasingly cashless society. I can budget better as getting regular spending money means I can ask if they have any left when they ask for things I can't really afford. Whereas before I would buy things from my own pocket as I could never keep track of who had given me what cash. I no longer have mum-guilt when I say no, which has been game changing for my budget. The service is very straightforward to use.

The service is very straightforward to use, I like that is has designated save and give pots to encourage children (and parents) to think about ways to use their pocket money. The automated allowance refs tyre avoids arguments about whether it’s been sent or not, and the fact it can be paused as well is helpful! The added features for use abroad are welcome and the parental spend notifications are great as well. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

Excellent app/ account for children.

Excellent app/ account for children. Prior to having the NatWest account, my children had the GO Henry account, however being a NatWest customer I swapped them over to NatWest rooster. The app is really good and easy to use, you can add family members. My children love their account, makes them feel independent. It encourages and learns them about money. Rooster account has been great incentive for my kids to earn pocket money with the chore lists. They've loved being able to create separate saving pots with their money too. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
